On this image, I used the twirl feature 5 times and then I used the spiky halo feature - I did this twice with the settings of: horizontal & vertical offset = 0, radius = 1, amptitude of 15 & frequency of 36. I then went to Colors, Colorize & then merged all and used the unsharp mask.

On the enhanced image, these are the steps I did: (1) I cut out the lion, inverted, and then did the Blur Average. (2) I then went to Geometric Effects and chose Wind at a strength of 20 and then deselected. (3) I duplicated the background and chose Effects - Illumination, Sunburst with a light yellow hue. (4) Layer Properties on the copy of the background layer I chose Multiply.

On this image I did the twirl 3 times then used paint brush strokes to create the basic effect and then used the colorize feature to create the effect you see here. Hey Linda? Is there any way to get rid of that sunlight on my sons face and somehow blend it in?

WTC - Enhancement 1
On the image above, I selected all of the sky and flood filled with black. I then went to Effects - Illumination, Lights and selected a soft yellow hue to get the effect you see here.

WTC - Enhancement 2
I have entitled this "Night Lights" - I duplicated the layer of the image on the above right and then on the new layer I chose Dissolve to achieve this effect. My moment of the day was when my husband came in and kept saying "WOW" You see, he is from Brooklyn and watched the World Trade Center being built and he will forever remember the night sky
