Original Image Enhanced image - using Red, Green & Blue adjustment
This is my son, Will, when he was just a little tyke many years ago. On this image, I chose to try the Red/Green/Blue adjustment as the picture looked too yellow for my liking. It worked quite well with the settings of: 15% red, 10% green and 20% blue. I then chose Auto Saturation Enchancement with normal bias and normal strength. Wills' face was still a bit dark so I drew a selection around his face and used Skintones, CaucNormLt under the Manual Color Correction tab. I then used the Unsharp Mask with settings of: Radius=7.92, Strength=30, Clipping=5.

Original Image After color levels were changed
I had a little trouble deciding how Tello looked best. Tello was a street cat who had been in one too many fights until my sister rescued him. LOL-actually, Tello decided to take up residence at her doorstep and wormed his way in to her home and our hearts. Here is what I did to make Tello look a little better: Step 1: Adjust red/green/blue with the settings of: Red-15%, Green-10% & Blue-30%.
Step 2: Auto-Contrast Enhancement with settings: Bias=Neutral, Strength=Mild, Appearance=Natural.
Step 3: Auto-Saturation Enhancement with settings of: Bias=Less Colorful & Strength=Normal.
Step 4: I wanted to bring Tellos' eyes out more so I chose the Red-Eye Removal method (even tho he didn't really have red that I could tell). I used the Auto Animal Setting # 3, pupil lightness of 56, Glint Lightness of 47, Glint size of 4, Feather of 1 & Blur of 0.
Step 5: Back to the Auto-Contrast Enhancement and last but not least I chose to Sharpen the image once.

Original Retouched eyes
This is Miracle - Miracle lived in a no-kill shelter until she chose to adopt us. We had decided to get another cat and agreed that we would not be the ones to chose, that the cat would have to choose us. And what a cat we got!! She now lives with my sister in Denver and is 16 years old. I miss her but the vet thought that she was too fragile to make the move to Texas & Georgia.

This is Abbey - she was my sisters kitty who passed away a few years ago. Abbey was 18 I think when she passed away. Let me tell you, when Abbey was alive, she was a little spitfire!! Talk about a cat ruling a house with the other cats, they were scared of her (lol). And if you'll notice in the pics, she had her own heating pad to take out the aches and pains of older kittyhood.

Original Image Retouched Image
This is Will after his high school graduation in 1998. He is now almost 23 years old and, maybe it's because I'm his mom, but I think that his features have become more chistled. P.S. - he is single and living in Denver if any ladies are interested (grin).
Oops, I almost forgot to tell you what I did on this image. I apologize that I may not have the correct order here, but I started with the Red/Green/Blue adjustment, then the Auto Contrast Enhancement, the Auto Saturation Enhancement. The adjustment with the Red/Green/Blue made the curtains and the windows too blue so I used the Lasso tool to select the curtains and then used the Manual Color Correction method to lighten them. I did the same thing with the windows. I then used the Sharpen tool to create the picture you see on the right.

Original Image Refined Image - Red Eye Removal
And this is Licorice - my husbands dog. On him I first started with the adjustment of the red/blue/green so that the carpet would be a blue color. I then used the Auto-Contrast Enhancement, Auto-Color Enhancement and the Auto-Saturation Enhancement to get the effect I wanted. I then used the Red-Eye Removal feature to correct his eyes. And then I used the Sharpen feature to achieve the image you see on the right.

Oops, my husband just came in to see if I was still alive so I guess that means that I've done too many for the week. Sorry folks, I got carried away this week but I have so many pictures to share, so little time (smiles).
