Greetings to one and all!! My name is Kim and I currently reside with my
husband & 3 cats in a small town called Duluth GA, which is 25 miles north of
Atlanta. Duluth is a charming town, beautiful trees everywhere and it seems to
be always green. Atlanta is far enough away that Duluth hasn't lost the "small
town atmosphere" but close enough for all of the excitement. There is so
much beauty here in Georgia, including the beautiful sunrise over
the Atlantic Ocean, as seen below.
We moved here from Dallas, TX six months ago. This is where my husband and I
met and even though Dallas wasn't the town I ever called "home", I am glad that
my five year stop there included my meeting the most wonderful man in the
world. Dallas was a culture shock to say the least! I missed the mountains
and trees and of course my family.
Originally I came from Leadville CO, which is the highest town in the U.S. at
10,000 feet above sea level. Talk about being a true "mountain girl"!!!
Leadville is the most beautiful town on earth, it's nestled between the Rocky
Mountains. From every direction you look, there are snow-capped mountains and
every breath you take you smell nothing but fresh air. It is truly God's
country... I lived in Leadville until I was 18 and then moved to Denver CO,
where my family still resides. My wish is that someday I will finally go home.
I have plenty to keep me busy no matter where I reside. I enjoy my job as a
quotations manager for Graybar Electric Company. I work off-site on a
customers premises, and I can honestly say that this job, by far, is the best
job that I have ever had. In my spare time I enjoy doing counted
cross-stitching, designing necklaces, making beaded Christmas ornaments and
have just started learning the ins and outs of Paint Shop Pro 6. I also love
music, reading, writing poetry, learning advanced HTML and spending every
possible moment I can with my new husband, who supports me in everything I do.
